How to do it

1. Remove patient names. Copy the patient message and your visit note into a blank note. Take out patient names, dates of birth, and identifying details. Keep only the clinical facts and the question.
2. Paste the text into AI. Paste your scrubbed notes and the patient question into the chat. Add your sample replies so AI sees your bedside voice. Tell AI what guidance to give.
3. Read the draft reply. AI drafts a response in simple terms that explain the findings or instructions. Compare the draft against your lab orders and notes. Look for tone, clarity, and missing warnings.
4. Edit and send yourself. Copy the text back into your practice portal. Adjust any medical wording and add personal context. Send the final message to your patient.
