Write property listing descriptions with AI, for real estate agents

Writing fresh property remarks after a long day of showings drains your evening. Hand over your rough notes, and let AI build the first draft while you keep your feet up.

What to gather first

Which app

For this one, a plain AI chat window is enough: ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini. Open the chat, paste what you gathered, and type the message below. First time? Read how to talk to an AI.

How to do it

  1. Paste your past descriptions. Open a chat window on your laptop. Drop in two descriptions you wrote for past clients so AI sees how you talk. Tell AI to match this tone.
  2. Add the raw details. Paste your messy notes about the kitchen, the yard, and the room sizes. Mention who the home suits best, like first-time buyers or downsizers. AI reads through the pile and groups the strong selling points.
  3. Ask for the draft. Tell AI to draft the text for your MLS listing and social posts. AI turns your bullet points into whole paragraphs. You get clean options back in seconds.
  4. Read and fix the facts. Check the draft against your property sheet. Correct any wrong dimensions, trim any adjectives you would not say aloud, and add anything missing. Paste the final words into your listing system.

What to type first

I pasted my notes for a new listing and two descriptions I wrote last month. Write a description for the local listing service and a shorter one for social media. Use the tone from my past work. Stick only to the facts in my notes. Do not invent features, and do not send anything out.

Change the words to match your business. AI follows what you say, so say what done looks like.

Before you trust it

Once this feels smooth, try pasting your listing text to draft an email blast for other agents.
