Reply to online reviews with AI, for real estate agents
Online reviews pile up on busy sale days, leaving past buyers and sellers waiting for a simple thank you or a calm word. Let AI draft the first response so you only need to read, tweak, and post.
What to gather first
- Three past replies you liked
- The new online reviews
- Notes on your office style
Which app
For this one, a plain AI chat window is enough: ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini. Open the chat, paste what you gathered, and type the message below. First time? Read how to talk to an AI.
How to do it
- Paste your review texts. Copy the text from your public review pages. Paste the comments straight into your chat with AI. Include the reviewer name and whether they bought or sold.
- Add your house voice. Share a few sentences you wrote to past clients. AI reads how you sound when you speak to neighbors. This keeps every response sounding like your front desk.
- Ask for two drafts. Ask AI to draft two versions for each review. It writes warm notes for five-star praise and calm, polite notes for complaints. You see both options side by side.
- Read and post. Check each line against what really happened during the sale. Fix any awkward words yourself. Copy your chosen draft back into your review profile and send.
What to type first
Here are three new reviews from home sellers and two past replies I wrote myself. Draft a reply for each new review that matches my tone. Keep happy replies warm and keep critical replies polite and calm. Do not send anything or make promises about deals.
Change the words to match your business. AI follows what you say, so say what done looks like.
Before you trust it
- Check that the client name matches the actual review.
- Make sure critical replies invite the client to call without admitting fault.
- Verify that the draft sounds like words you would say aloud.
Try pasting neighborhood questions from your website contact form to get quick first drafts.
