Sort new client inquiries with AI, for lawyers

You spend the end of each day reading raw intake forms and writing back for missing facts. Let AI pull out the key details and draft your first response so you only review and send.

What to gather first

Which app

For this one, a plain AI chat window is enough. Open the chat, paste what you gathered, and type the message below.

How to do it

  1. Paste your standard intake list. Put your typical questions and practice areas into the chat window. This gives AI your rules for what details you need from every client. Keep it short and plain.
  2. Add the new client message. Paste the text of the inquiry below your questions. AI reads the message and pulls out names, dates, and claims. It flags any clear missing facts.
  3. Review the drafted summary. AI lists the key facts at the top and drafts a reply below them. The draft uses your intake questions to ask for whatever the client forgot to mention. Read through to check the tone.
  4. Edit and send the reply. Copy the draft out of the chat window and into your email. Fix any wording that does not sound like you. Send it to the client yourself.

What to type first

I attached our firm's intake questions and an email from a new client. Read the email, pull out the key facts into a short list, and draft a polite reply asking for the missing details. Keep my standard tone. Do not give legal advice, and do not send anything.

Change the words to match your business. AI follows what you say, so say what done looks like.

Before you trust it

Once this works, try having AI group your incoming inquiries by practice area before you read them.
