Reply to online reviews with AI, for retail stores

Online reviews pile up while you unpack stock, help shoppers, and run the till. AI reads the new feedback and drafts calm replies in your voice so you are never starting from a blank page.

What to gather first

Which app

For this one, a plain AI chat window is enough. Open the chat, paste what you gathered, and type the message below.

How to do it

  1. Copy your past replies. Grab a couple of responses you wrote when you were in a good mood. AI reads these to catch your tone, your greetings, and how you thank regular customers. It learns how you talk to your community.
  2. Paste the new reviews. Drop the new shopper reviews into the chat window alongside your store policies. Tell AI to draft one reply for each person. AI sorts the praise from the complaints and prepares a response for each.
  3. Read every draft line. Look through what AI wrote. Check that it sounds like you and treats complaints with respect without giving away stock. Swap in any personal memories you have with that shopper.
  4. Post the final words. Copy the approved text back into your review profile. You make the final call on every word before it goes live. You close the tab and get back to your sales floor.

What to type first

Here are three reviews I answered recently, along with our store return policy. Below that are five new customer reviews that need replies. Draft a short, warm reply to each shopper using my tone. For unhappy shoppers, invite them back to talk with me in person. Do not offer discounts or store credit. Do not send anything online.

Change the words to match your business. AI follows what you say, so say what done looks like.

Before you trust it

Try pasting notes from phone inquiries to draft quick follow-up messages for shoppers who asked about sold-out items.
