Build the wedding day timeline with AI, for photographers

Building a wedding day timeline means digging through messy client questionnaires and piecing together sunset times, family lists, and venue travel. AI takes those raw notes and drafts a running order so you can review real blocks of time instead of starting from scratch.

What to gather first

Which app

For this one, a plain AI chat window is enough. Open the chat, paste what you gathered, and type the message below.

How to do it

  1. Paste the event notes. Open a chat window next to your client files. Drop in the ceremony time, reception start, sunset hour, and venue addresses. Include any specific photo requests the couple sent.
  2. Ask for a draft schedule. Tell AI to build a chronological timeline from getting ready through the main reception events. It sorts the day into simple chunks of time and lists what to shoot during each part.
  3. Adjust the pacing. Read the draft and tell AI where you need changes. Ask it to add travel buffer between venues or shift portraits earlier to catch good light.
  4. Copy and format for the couple. Take the updated text out of the chat. Drop it into your client email or guide template, fix any family names, and send it to the couple for review.

What to type first

Here are the notes from my couple, including their ceremony time, reception location, and sunset time. Draft a wedding photography timeline from getting ready to open dancing. Group the family formal shots into a clean order after the ceremony. Do not send anything to the client, and do not make up travel times between the locations.

Change the words to match your business. AI follows what you say, so say what done looks like.

Before you trust it

Once your timeline is set, paste it in to draft a quick family photo checklist for your second shooter.
