Reply to online reviews with AI, for dog groomers

Online reviews pile up while you drive between clients and wash dogs all day. AI writes calm, friendly first drafts so you can reply without staring at an empty box.

What to gather first

Which app

For this one, a plain AI chat window is enough: ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini. Open the chat, paste what you gathered, and type the message below. First time? Read how to talk to an AI.

How to do it

  1. Paste the review and notes. Copy the customer's review into the chat window. Add a quick note about the dog, the haircut, or what happened in the van. AI reads both together before writing.
  2. Ask for two drafts. Tell AI how you want to sound. Ask for one short thank-you and one slightly longer note with the pet's name. AI returns plain options ready for your eyes.
  3. Read and fix the text. Check the dog's name, breed, and temperament details. Adjust the tone to sound like you speaking in your driveway. Add your phone number if the client had an issue.
  4. Post the reply online. Copy the draft you fixed. Paste it into your business review page and send it yourself. Close the window until the next set of reviews comes in.

What to type first

Here is an online review from a grooming client and my quick notes about their dog's appointment. Draft two warm, friendly replies from me. Mention the dog by name. If the review is upset, stay polite and invite them to call me directly. Do not send anything online.

Change the words to match your business. AI follows what you say, so say what done looks like.

Before you trust it

Once replies feel easy, you can draft reminder texts for upcoming visits the same way.
