Reply to online reviews with AI, for auto shops

Reviews pile up after busy days in the shop while you look for words that do not sound robotic or defensive. AI drafts the first reply so you can review it, tweak the details, and post.

What to gather first

Which app

For this one, a plain AI chat window is enough. Open the chat, paste what you gathered, and type the message below.

How to do it

  1. Paste the review and work history. Copy the driver's review into the chat window. Add a few notes from the repair order so AI knows what work the shop did on the car.
  2. Set the tone you want. Tell AI how your shop speaks to drivers. Show it past replies so it sees how you welcome happy drivers and handle complaints.
  3. Read the draft out loud. AI creates a draft reply for your review. Check that it sounds like your front counter staff talking directly to the customer.
  4. Edit and post the response. Adjust any vehicle facts or repair notes. Copy the text over to the review site and post it yourself.

What to type first

Here is a new online review from a driver, along with our repair notes from their visit. Draft a short, plain reply from our shop. Keep it warm if they are happy, and calm and polite if they are upset about a repair. Do not offer discounts, do not admit fault, and do not send anything.

Change the words to match your business. AI follows what you say, so say what done looks like.

Before you trust it

Try using AI to draft follow-up text messages checking on drivers a few days after repair jobs.
